Objectives
The Greater Nottingham Skills Board has the following aspirations:
- Raise aspirations of local people to “achieve through learning” and to “progress through work”.
- Drive up the demand for skills from business.
- Improve the match between skills supply and demand.
These aspirations support the delivery of the regional Employment Skills and Productivity Partnership (ESP) plan, the Nottingham Development Strategy and the plans and strategies of One Nottingham.
The Skills and Employment Board is a theme partnership of One Nottingham and supports its objectives of reducing inequalities of employment in the city’s most disadvantaged wards.
