About This Project

NOMAD+ is a dedicated interactive web site maintained and managed by the Geographical Information Services team (GIS) of Nottingham City Council. The site is run for the benefit of its partner organisations and all people interested in the growth and development of Nottinghamshire. The web site has been designed as a definitive 'one-stop shop' for information about Nottingham and the surrounding area. It contains information on all aspects relevant to the health of the city, and its future growth. The future development of the site is based upon a devolved content management model and contributions of resources from all partner organisations, and other agencies or bodies are welcomed. The site seeks to collect, analyse and disseminate key local and regional information to support and inform the decision-making processes.

It has been developed as a means by which policy makers and researchers within all sectors will be able to share information, resources and knowledge. The web site enables information to be held, shared and catalogued. It also provides tools to allow users to undertake data analysis, graph results, locate documents and access maps.
