Q. I know a resource is on NOMAD+ but I cannot find it.

A. Remember that if you are looking for a report search on the Reports Page and if you are searching for data, search on the Stats and Data page. A general; search of the whole site is possible from the homepage. It is often wise to put less keywords as it will come back with a greater number of matches to your search. If you still cannot find what you are looking for please contact gi@nottinghamcity.gov.uk.

Q. I have located the resource I want to see but I cannot view it.

A. If a message is displayed telling you that you do not have the required permissions to access this resource then this is because some resources on NOMAD+ are restricted to individual users or groups. You also need to make sure that you have the right software on your computer to view the files. Click here to download relevant viewers.

Q. Can I contribute resources to the NOMAD+ Site?

A. You need to be registered as an Advanced User to be able submit resources to the site. Please apply by going to Change Profile and then select Request that my account be promoted to a higher role. These rights are granted at the discretion of the NOMAD+ Administrators. Users who wish to become Advanced Users will need to attend the relevant training course to ensure information is submitted correctly.

Q. I cannot see the resource I have uploaded to NOMAD+?

A. The resources you submit to NOMAD+ are transferred to a holding area to ensure that all information, such as the metadata and the permissions, is correct. This is completed by the site administrators, who will then ensure the information is put onto the site.
